My wife and I recently had A-Plus Window Tint apply tint to the front of our home to reduce sunlight and provide a degree of coolness during the summer months. Tony and Bob have done a super job! Easy people to work with. We did experience a seal failure on one of our 17 year old duo-pane windows. This is something that can occur. Rex Glass replaced the window, I had no issues submitting the information to Llumar regarding the warranty and Bob re-tinted the new window. Even with the "hiccup" we have been extremely satisfied.
I have had 3 vehicles tinted by A-Plus and previously wrote several very positive reviews about them. Not so this time. I called about getting a convertible tinted and the gentleman said he would have to check and call me back. He didn't call back. Today I was driving by so I decided to stop in. The gentleman in the shop commented on how difficult it is to do windows on this particular car (a BMW) and quoted me a truly outrageous price ($400). When I asked why it was so much to do this car considering he did a BMW wagon for me in November for considerably less, he explained that their pricing had changed because they were losing money on cars. Get this. He then said it would take him 4 hours to do this car and that a 4 hour commercial building window job would bring him $1600. So, in essence, he was telling me he didn't want my business because there was easier work elsewhere. Wow. What a crappy answer. If they don't want to do cars, they should just tell people they no longer do cars. I got a recommendation for another auto-tint shop from a friend and went over there that same afternoon. Same car. Same Job. $180.00. Good luck, guys! You'll never see me or get my recommendation again!
I have had 3 vehicles fully tinted by A Plus. They did a fabulous job! They truly exceeded my expectations both with the quality of work and pricing of the service. The tint has held up through winters and summers without any problems. Tony and his staff are very kind and professional. I highly recommend this business if you need tint service. The 3 negative reviews of this company are absolutely inappropriate as they are all from one person thst didn't follow proper tint protocol. The individual that said "A-Plus sucks" also cited that he opened his windows the day after the tint service. This is why he had problems with his tint. You have to let the time to cure for a minimum of 48 hours. A Plus provides power Window warning labels to keep you from accidentally putting your windows down before the tint cures. Choose this company and you will be very happy with the professionalism and service quality provided.
